Vol. 7, In an Eastern Rose Garden Stilling the Mind Mental Creation
Rumi says so beautifully, "There is a flute, one end of which is between the lips of God, and the other end of the flute is in the heart of man."
What a wonderful metaphor! When man's heart is awakened, when the thoughts have become living beings, then whenever this feeling comes its current runs from infinite to finite, from the objective world back to the world unseen, from God to man. A current is established. It is man's thought which is the bridge to heaven.
